The way CBD dosages are determined varies between the different types of product. For instance, if you use the oil, you’re going to see a different dosage on the bottle than you will notice on other products. This has always been an industry standard, so we try to keep in line with it. The difference between CBD dosage and most mainstream drug dosage can seem confusing, but that’s what we’re here for! We want to make sure you know how to get a consistent dose across the products.
Oil: The dosage on the bottle will tell you how many milligrams of CBD are in the whole bottle. If used as suggested, each bottle should have about sixty (60) doses, making each dose about 16 - 17 mg if you’re using a 1000 mg bottle.
Nano: The Nano is a little bit different, but well worth understanding. Each Infusion is meant to be one dose, and is 5 mg total. However, as we explain in its description, Nano packs a mighty punch! You’ll get the effectiveness of about 45 mg because it is broken down and much easier for your body to absorb.
Lip Balm: Each full tube of lip balm is infused with 5 mg of CBD.
Topical Balms: Each jar of balm comes in three separate strengths: 500 mg, 1000 mg, or 1500 mg. Dosage is for the whole 4 oz jar.
Additionally, our extra strength jars are 1500 mg and have been broken down much like the nano, so as to be absorbed more effectively.
To determine which dose is best for you, we suggest you first choose which oil you want. Once you’ve decided, you may want to start slowly, with a lower dose, and move up every couple of days until you’re seeing the result you want. The higher concentrations provide a way to absorb more CBD with each drop, so as you continue, you may find that going “up a notch” will do more for you.
